Family Gaming Hall
For those planning to bring young children to Breakout, but looking for a quieter, family-focused space to game in, we welcome you to visit our Family Gaming Hall, sponsored by Little Meeples.
The Family Gaming Hall is staffed by a hall manager who will be on hand throughout the day to help get families settled and set up with a game if they didn’t bring their own.
The hall has its own mini-library with a selection of games geared towards younger children, ages 4 to 12, with volunteers available to help teach the games.
Family Gaming Hall Rules & Policies
- Child participants: Each group playing in the hall must include at least one child aged 12 or under.
- Child supervision: A responsible adult, such as a parent or guardian, must be direct supervising (or play with the children) at all times. Breakout does not provide any daycare-like services and the accompanying adult is responsible for the well-being and behaviour of all children in their group.
- Adult participants: Anyone aged 18 or over must be accompanied by someone under 18 to play in the hall.

Play-to-Win Family Games
We know winning a game is exciting! A selection of donated Play-to-Win games will be available in this hall. However, only children aged 12 or under are eligible to enter the draw and win a game.
The raffle for the Play-to-Win will take place before this hall closes on Sunday afternoon. Winners, or the person they have designated in advance, must be present to collect their prize.

The hall will be closed each evening after 6 pm until the next morning.
